GIS Case Study: City of Greenwood Village, Colorado

2019 – Present

Challenge

NewEdge was contracted by the City of Greenwood Village, CO to implement PLL for Right of Way (ROW) Permits within the Public Works Department. The City was had previously implemented AMS for Public Works and had been using the system for several years before purchasing PLL. The project kicked off in September of 2019 and completed in March of 2020 with 5 ROW permits, each with a custom workflow and checklist items. Public Access for online applications and payments for customers was initiated in August of 2020.

Upon successful implementation of PLL for Greenwood Village, NewEdge was subsequently contracted to split the previous AMS implementation into two domains using SQL scripts. The Parks Department requested to separate from Public Works to accommodate different workflows and staffing needs. This project is on-going and expected to be finalized in October of 2020.
